Known primarily for amplifiers, the Acoustic Control Corporation of Los Angeles introduced Black Widow solidbody guitars with a protective red "spider" back pad in 1972, endorsed by jazzman Larry Coryell. Most were built in Japan, but around 200 were made by Semie Moseley in California before thier demise in 1975.
